2008 Black Cat Weekend Update

June 13, 2008 weekend turned out to be very lucky for 18 black cats. Suncoast Animal League's second "Black Cat Adopt-a-Thon Weekend", held at PetSmart in Countryside, focused on black cats because they are more difficult to adopt and definitely deserve the opportunity to find loving homes. Two of the adoptions highlights of the weekend were Missy a 7-year-old and Mickey (seen in these photos with volunteer Jack Hambach), a kitty that has been with us for ten months. We changed their luck! |
