Bootsee

My Cinderella Story

Mine is truly a Cinderella story. You see I was a wild little kitten, alone and scared and sometimes really, really hungry. One fateful day, (THE DAY MY LIFE CHANGED) I crawled up into a car engine. Lucky for me, when the owner turned the car on, only my tail was hurt. Also, lucky for me the owner of the vehicle caught me and took me to Dr. Stanton’s office.

Dr. Stanton and the nice people at the veterinary hospital took really good care of me and when it was OK for me to leave, I was placed in a foster home with my wonderful foster parents (Denise & Niki) from the Suncoast Animal League. My foster family taught me a whole lot of things. Especially, not to be so afraid of humans. I lived with other cats and dogs and learned how not to be so wild.

Then the true Cinderella experience happened. I was at the Suncoast Animal League in the kitten room when my new parents found me and adopted me. Boy! Did I luck out. My new family is super! I have a feline brother and sister (Will and Grace), and a feline grandmother (Apache). There is even a dog named (Sassy) who worries about me and helps protect me. I also, have a human brother and sister, but most of all my mom and dad love me to death.

My feline brother and I play together all the time and my human mom and dad are always picking me up to kiss (Mom) and pet me. I even sleep in bed with them. My mom calls me “Purr O Matic” but I can’t help it I’m so content and happy. And to think all this wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the wonderful people who helped me along the way.
