Luna

Some of you may remember Luna who was rescued in 2007 from a shelter in Alabama which was in danger of closing.  Luna came to us with her puppies and soon stole everyone's heart with her gentle personality and beautiful blue eyes. 
 
Unfortunately, Luna was suffering from heartworms, but as soon as she was strong enough, we started her treatment.  She made it through the heartworm treatment just fine and shortly afterwards was adopted.  It's been more than a year since we first met Luna and it warms our hearts to know she is doing so well in her new home.  Below is an update, along with photos from her new family who love her dearly.  Enjoy!

Dear Aunt Denise,
I hope that you are doing well!! Just wanted to send you pictures of Princess Luna. Thank you for inviting us to the "Mutt March" benefit and giving us the opportunity to meet her puppy Bella. I have stayed in contact with Bella's mom, Lisa & we have met at John Chestnut park with the girls and it seems like they really like to see each other.
 I thought that I would send you some recent pictures of Luna & her puppy Bella, as well as her boyfriend Mozart (one of my friend's dog that is from Golden Retriever Rescue). She is doing so good & is a total goof ball!!
 Thank you so much for all that you did for her!!
