"Lexi Bear"
The little female Pomeranian we're fostering is doing really well. We picked her up on May 23rd. Her new name is Lexie Bear and she's starting to respond to it. She seems so content in our home. During the day she has domain of what we call her "playpen" -- the large tiled foyer between 2 bedrooms and the guest bath. She can see everything that goes on in the kitchen and in my home office, so she doesn't miss a thing! While I'm working at my desk, she's usually on my lap -- being petted, of course.
We've seen so many changes since the first day we brought her home. She wouldn't make eye contact or hardly move. Now her tail wags non-stop! Her favorite thing is being out in the backyard. It must feel so good after being couped up for so long! Walking on the leash still needs work, but she's mastered potty training and we're not having any accidents inside.
She's clean and safe, and we're seeing progress every day that she's happy in her new surroundings.
