Roo & Her Crew Update

Since their March 29th rescue, "Roo & Her Crew" have made quite a comeback.  They definitely prefer the comfort of their foster home to the unknown dangers of the wild.  Roo gained two pounds within the first five days of her rescue, and has since added another five pounds, for a grand total of seven pounds gained!  She still has about 10 - 13 pounds to go, but that should be no problem for this happy-go-lucky girl.

Through it all, she has remained a very attentive mom, checking on her pups and feeding them as often as their little appetites demand. As a result, the pups gained eight ounces during their initial five-day stay and are growing rapidly, with the largest puppy now tipping the scales at nearly four pounds!

There have been a few minor set backs along the way, such as a short bout with kennel cough and Roo has been diagnosed with ringworm, but they are being treated for these problems and all seem to be doing just fine, so happy as they recover in their foster home.  We are all thrilled with "Roo & Her Crew's" progress.  We really couldn't have hoped for it to go any better.  We ask you to keep them in your thoughts and continue to monitor our website for more updates.
